Skyler Carrell

I feel a big part of being a Scholar citizen is in the name itself. It is balancing being scholar and being a citizen among your community. My favorite way of fulling this is educating the public the importance and how fun science it is. Ways I have done this volunteer at the science festivals in Blacksburg and Roanoke VA, Bug fest in Blacksburg, going to classrooms at Radford university sharing our RARE experiences, and lastly holding large discussion with the Honors Academy students of Radford University about exploration.
